Exhibit #1: High Precision Timing from Linux User Space on SoC
The proposed solution focuses on substituting the time- and CPU-consuming common way of getting the time values using Linux OS. It stands on the direct clock hardware access from user space through a unified High Performance Timer Library HighPerTimer and follows such gains:
-
Handling of time values from Linux-user space
-
Applicability for x86 and ARM architectures
-
Time acquisition costs down to 200 nanoseconds for ARM Cortex A series
-
Precise process sleep with reduces CPU-usage

Exhibit #2: SmartLighting system
SmartLighting is a system representing a novel approach to a problem of energy consumption for public street illuminating systems, providing up to 90% power savings during a night operation period. The stand of presentation discloses main purposes of the project:
-
Keeping applied lights only turned on during a dark period
-
Prolonging a life cycle of street lamps
-
Providing a comfortable lighting zone for a pedestrian along the path
-
Basing on a reliable IPv6 unique addresses scheme with auto-configuration
-
Easy to deploy
